Is it too early to think about your salon winter promotions? iSalon don’t think so!

Offering a discount around the beginning of the month is a great way to kick start December and grab your client’s attention. The key to this is to make sure that your offers run throughout the month so that you have a steady flow of business throughout. It is also important to shout about the fantastic offers you have planned well in advance so your clients have the chance to book their appointment and select the offer they would like to redeem. You can use iSalon to send this in a text message to all of your clients; this is one of the best ways to communicate with your database. We would recommend releasing your offers around the beginning of November to give plenty of time for bookings to be made.
It is also important to think about the run up to December and it is worthwhile offering discounts in November too as this can be a quiet time for salons as clients tend to wait until December for their Christmas appointments. With the popular ‘Black Friday’ falling on November 24th it could be worthwhile offering a discount on your colour or cut services with any other full price treatments for this discount extravaganza day. This should fill out your stylist’s columns towards the end of November where they may otherwise experience a bit of down time and may help you gain some new clients too.
Our last tip regarding salon promotions throughout winter and in the run up to Christmas is definitely to utilise your salon’s social media accounts to their full potential. There is no better platform to share news and communicate with such a large portion of your clients at one time. So, be sure to share your offers on your Facebook and Instagram and perhaps even consider running a competition with the view to gaining more followers and engage your existing clients.
