With Christmas not fair away it is essential that you keep clients happy and provide them with an incentive to visit the salon, and the perfect way to do this is to hold a Christmas client evening.

Here at iSalon we want to help you make a success of your client evening, so here is our top tips to achieving success!

When working out the logistics of the evening, we would advise a Thursday evening, as this tends to be a great time for most, between the time of 6.00pm – 8.00pm. This allows clients to get away from work and come straight to the salon, any later would see them go home and potentially give it a miss. Ensure you give plenty notice too, so clients are well aware and note this in their diary!

Set the date!

Make a plan

Plan what you are going to do over the course of the evening. Some examples are consultations, demonstrations, styling and up do’s. These work well as it shows the clients what you and the team can do and gives them an insight of what to expect when visiting the salon. Work out who is doing what to ensure everything is covered and everyone is confident with their role.

Provide incentives

The best way to entice a client to the salon is to offer them an incentive. Providing goody bags is a great idea as everyone loves a goody bag! You could speak with local businesses and see if they would like to provide small samples or vouchers to include as well as speaking with your product company and see if they could also supply an small gifts. We would also suggest popping in money off voucher for one of your services to again encourage the clients to return.

Remember the little things

The little things never go unnoticed so make sure to wow your clients with something special. Providing something simple is very effective so some fizz, canapés and cupcakes always go down a treat at events of this kind! Another idea is to perhaps reward your loyal clients who attend, with a free treatment or a special gift.

Communicate your event!

The most important aspect to making your event a success. Using your iSalon Software is a great way to make clients aware of your event as you can text and also send an email to clients making them aware of the evening. Also ensure this is posted on your social media platform to give a further reach.
