It’s a great way to interact with your clients, delivering new information and of course updating them on news from you and the team. Video marketing can be used in many different ways … but what is the best and most effective way to ensure you get across the right message and of course keep content current? This is available on both facebook and instagram, and is something many businesses are beginning to use. A great way to begin is with a short introduction to you, the salon/spa/barbershop and the team. Tell them a bit about what you do and the services provide. Keep it short, sweet and simple.
Something that is becoming more popular on instagram. Using the question pop up on instagram stories has become a favourite with many. It allows followers to message privately and gain a reply on the stories without their names being revealed. We would always suggest giving a pre warning when planning a Q&A session to gain more interest.
Clients love nothing more than learning about services provided so why not provide them with a service spotlight. Choose a service you wish to promote and do a live video on this. A facial is always good for the spa industry and a hair makeover for the hair salons! This gives clients a great insight into you and your standards.
- Team introduction
We’ve found more often than not, that potential clients visit social media more than websites, when they are researching. They like to know what to expect before they visit. A day in the life of your team is a fantastic way to get across the friendly environment. Introduce viewers to a new team member each week, allowing them to take the client through their day. This is a fun, friendly feature which has proved to be popular.
When on social media, many videos have gained several thousand likes through tutorial style videos. A simple 30 -45 second video is all that’s needed, showing viewers how to create a specific style. These can be sped up using certain applications.
The app that everyone loves. It’s simple yet effective and can work extremely well for video marketing. Using boomerang to create short clips of products, a hair makeover, product spotlight, the team or the salon itself is a fun, relaxed away of engaging with your followers.
