Salon Business Awards 2019

Once again iSalon was delighted to be a part of the Salon Business Awards as sponsor of the Ultimate Salon Award. Not even the wet weather could dampen the enthusiasm of the attendees to find out if they were one of the evenings award winners.

The event was held at the 12^th Knot Rooftop Bar in the Sea Containers Hotel, a spectacular room where views over London (despite the weather) were awe inspiring. After a reception, where guests were served a variety of drinks and canapes,it was time for the awards to begin.

A Who’s Who of the hairdressing industry were in attendance and the star-studded ceremony was hosted by the editor of Salon Business Magazine, Joanne Charlton. Joanne welcomed everyone to the awards and without further ado, brought each of the sponsors to the stage to announce the winners. Saving the best until last,  with the announcement of the Ultimate Salon which was sponsored by iSalon.  Each of the finalists in all 14 salon categories are automatic finalists for the Ultimate Salon of the Year. Presented to the salon that shines across the board there is an award for a small to medium salon and a large salon, based on the salon’s turnover.

Marketing Manager for iSalon, Alice Smithson was welcomed to the stage where she presented Ashley Gamble Salon with the small to medium award and Managing Director Darren Pick presented Academy Salons with the Ultimate Salon (large) award.

The party atmosphere continued as the incredible DJ and saxophonist, Brendan Mills entertained the crowd with a mixture of floor fillers  and live music. The party continued into the small hours, with everyone collecting their jam-packed Salon Business Awards goody bag as they left.

A huge congratulations to all of the winners, an amazing achievement and overall a fantastic, stand out  event.
