The Annexx Hair Salon

Located in Berkhamsted, The Annex Hair Salon is one of our long standing clients. Housed in a 3-storey building, the salon is situated off the main high street and in a discrete location, which is something many clients like and regularly comment on.

The reception, situated on the ground floor, is where the main salon PC is located which houses their salon software. Here we chat to Linda Morgan, on how we have helped meet the business needs.

We have been operating for 11 years and have progressed from a paper diary to a Microsoft Outlook calendar, then a cheap online diary which gave us a flavour of what could be achieved but was cumbersome to use.  Then we discovered iSalon and we were off!

Our first point of call was to make the software accessible from every floor in the salon. Often we are up and down the stairs constantly, so it was essential for us to have access remotely. To meet our needs we now have a laptop and notebook available for the team to access the online appointment book and their columns. This has been a huge benefit to our team.

Our team are also constantly fully booked and we have had a cancellation list going for a few years. iSalon Software incorporates a standby list and this, for us,  is a very useful tool and one we could not live without! In the event of a client cancellation, we know we have a good chance of filling the appointment using our standby list.

Retail is and always has been of great importance to us. We retail high quality products such as Redken, Pureology, Shu Uemura, Kerastase, Caviar and Morroccanoil alongside ghd electrical products. We wanted a software that would keep a tight handle on stock control and that would make life much easier when stock taking and re-ordering – iSalon is so easy to use and extremely efficient and we know without this we would not have a system.

But most of all, reliability was what we needed and wanted. Having a trustworthy diary system with high quality help and support was what we wanted alongside our software and being an iSalon client, this is exactly what we receive. This allows us to be a successful, busy, warm and inviting salon.
